Ryan and Annie first connected in the athletic village at the University of Minnesota. Ryan was playing hockey and Annie was on the rowing team. Neither of them thought much of their first interaction, but they reconnected at church in the fall of September of 2022 where they quickly discovered they had a unique friendship and bond forming. After going for a walk, a smoothie bowl date, and Ryan asking Annie to do an interview for his "homework," they made their relationship official.

Over the last two years they have grown in love for each other through their long distance relationship as Ryan plays hockey in Western New York and Annie finished her masters degree in Minnesota. They are firm believers that it was God who brought them together and that He has a great purpose for their union. They are both seeking to pursue covenant relationship with Jesus Christ at the center of their marriage and look forward to sharing their special day with you.
